About AWARE
The Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) is Singapore's leading women's rights and gender equality organisation. Since its founding in 1985, AWARE has carried out pioneering research and advocacy on issues such as sexual assault, workplace harassment, the challenges faced by lower-income women and single mothers. Over the years, AWARE has fought for more supportive laws and stronger protection against gender-based violence, while challenging policies and social attitudes that discriminate against women. It also provides direct support through its helplines, counselling, legal advice, and other vital services for women in need. For more information on AWARE, please visit: https://www.aware.org.sg.
